Tynt : Get Backlinks from Content Thieves

Today I'm going to share one of the most interesting post related to the copyright infringement series. I have already explained on various important topics related to copyright infringement and this is going to be the 4th post of this series. The major point involved in this tutorial is a website named 'TYNT'. Tynt is a service which attaches a attribution link of your blog when someone copies your blog content. Suppose if you are running an code sharing blog like Me then this tutorial is not going to help you in any manner. So this tutorial is mainly for blogs other than html tutorial blogs. Let me go with the tutorial and illustrate on how this is going to work.

Using Tynt will boost your backlinks and thus increase your popularity and also the pagerank but there are chances that the content thief might remove your attribution link after pasting your content on his/her blog. So using Tynt doesn't get you backlinks from all the copied content where as you can achieve atleast few backlinks out of it and file a dmca notice on the one without backlink to your original post. I have explained clearly about filing DMCA notice in my previous tutorials.

Tynt Account Activation

1. Go to Tynt official website Sign up form.

2. Enter your Email, Domain name, Password and click on submit button.

3. Choose Customize Script option and a new window pops up.

4. Click on Customize Attribution button.

5. Fill the Attribution form as you like.

• Prefix - Enter a prefix name as Read more, Source, etc.,
• Creative Commons License - Choose the license that your blog abide with.
• Enter your Twitter/Facebook Username if you need it to be included in attribution link.

Hint:-

Keep an eye on the live preview box shown at the top for better customization.

6. Click on advanced settings.

• Link - Choose whether you want the source link to be just post title, post link or both post title and link.
• Placement - Choose whether you want the attribution to appear above the copied text or below it.
• Add attribution link when - Choose the number of words after which your attribution must be placed. I mean, if lesser words are copied than this specified words count then it doesn't include attribution link.

7. Save the customization and click on done.

8. Copy the JavaScript Snippet shown.

9. Go to blogger dashboard --> Template -> Edit Html.

10. Find(Ctrl+F) for ]]></b:skin> and paste the Tynt JavaScript code just below it.

11. Save the template.

12. Once after saving the template. Return to Tynt.com and login to your account --> site. Click on Test My Script button which is at the bottom of the window.

13. If the Tynt script was verified successfully on your blog, you will get Success notification after testing.

14. Now go to your blog and copy a small bulk of text from it and paste it on notepad and see the miracle.

Conclusion

As i have specified above, you must not use this on code sharing blogs. Using Tynt might not get you backlinks from all the copy bloggers but you can somehow get atleast few backlinks out of it. Hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Kindly leave your feedback and opinions in the comment section below.
